Jorge has been with Pacific Animal Hospital since 1995. He likes working with people and their pets. Veterinary medicine gives him the opportunity to help keep pets healthy. When not at the hospital, Jorge enjoys running and practicing martial arts.

Shawn has worked at Pacific Animal Hospital since 1995 and brings with her over 23 years of experience. Shawn has been a devoted animal lover since childhood. She obtained a career in the veterinary field because of her love of animals and medicine. According to Shawn "it is gratifying to see my efforts improve an animal's life". She enjoys working at Pacific Animal Hospital because it is a "great team of people". Her family includes her husband "Richard", her son "Rich", her daughter "Kaitlyn", a golden retriever "Duke", 2 Scottish Folds "Freddie" and "Squishy face", "Kiki" a DSH, 2 African Spur Tortoises "Hulk" and "Speedy", a Cockatiel named "Blossom", and 2 guinea pigs "Patches o Houlihan" and "Joy".

Kelly has been in the veterinary profession since 1999. She enjoys caring for pets, continuing education, and "being part of an awesome team." When not working, she spends her time with her family hanging at the beach, traveling or do some outdoor sport or activity. Kelly and her husband have a precious daughter who is the joy of their lives, a chocolate lab named "Taylor" and a tuxedo cat named "Chachi".

One of our two assistant managers, Kimberly, has a long list of responsibilities, which range from inventory control to scheduling. Kimberly has been in the veterinary field since 1999. She has been with Pacific Animal Hospital since 2002, working both as a receptionist and as veterinary technician before assuming her role as assistant manager. Kimberly enjoys working with incredible people on a daily basis, both co-workers and clients. She has always loved animals and has a strong interest in medicine, so her profession perfectly combines the two. In Kimberly's words, "Pet owners are a great group of people. I love the fact that I get to care for and nurture pets, and in the process am able to help their people as well." Kimberly and her three children share their busy lives with "Cookie" and "C.J." their Pitbulls, as well as "Jersey" and "R.T." their cats. |
Diane has worked with pets since the mid 1990s. She finds the veterinary field very rewarding because "the patients give unconditional love". In her words, she enjoys "a profession that is both challenging and helps make pet's lives better". In Diane's spare time she volunteers with the San Diego Humane Society Animal Rescue Reserve. She and her husband have "Elvis" the Basset Hound, a Pointer named "Jerry", and a kitty "Maggie" who is gracious enough to allow them all to live in her home!

Susie has worked in veterinary medicine since 2001. Animals have held a large role in her childhood and she has always desired to learn more about them. What she find the most rewarding is that at the end of day she leaves work with the satisfaction of knowing she has helped keep another pet healthy and happy. Susie has plans to continue working with animals regardless of what facet it may be. Her own dog "LuLu", an Akita mix, is her daily inspiration and long time companion.

Daria joined the Pacific Animal Hospital family in July of 2006. She has been a veterinary technician since 2002. Animals and medicine are a passion that Daria has enjoyed since childhood. This dream became a reality when she graduated from Foothill College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2006. Daria and her husband share their home with "Athena", a Rat Terrier, "Capone" a Jack Russell mix and their four cats "Trinity", "Lina", "Ramsay", and "Remo". In her spare time, Daria loves to travel, go wine tasting, relax on the beach, and play soccer.

Danielle has worked in veterinary medicine since 2001. She earned her B.S. in Animal Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in June of 2008. As an undergraduate she enjoyed getting involved with animals in wildlife rehabilitation, foal care, and pet therapy programs. She chose this profession because she finds it rewarding to help animals, and observe the bond between pets and their owners on a daily basis. Danielle and her eight-year-old Lab-Dalmatian “Bonita” just moved to the area in August 2008. She feels thrilled to have found such a wonderful team of people to work with. In her words, “I am very grateful to be working with such compassionate and knowledgeable doctors and staff. They have been so welcoming, and I really enjoy working with people who are so dedicated to their work.”

Kathy has been a veterinary technician since 1987. She has always had a love for animals and has been dragging poor unsuspecting animals home as long as she can remember. She has 3 great kids, Bryan, Kaitlynn, and Hailey. Her pets include 3 dogs, 7 cats, 2 snakes and 2 desert tortoises. When Kathy is not at work, she is worshipping the sun, reading or listening to music.
