Kevin Hergert, CVPM
Kevin started his Veterinary career in Georgia by working with a longtime family friend over 15 years ago. That initial job sparked a passion for Kevin and motivated him to develop a career in animal healthcare. More recently, Kevin spent over 5 years at an Emergency Animal Hospital outside of Los Angeles as their Practice Manager. Kevin elected to relocate his family in 2020 and joined the Pacific Animal Hospital team. In 2021, Kevin became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM), which is the highest level of credential for professional veterinary managers. Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and three cats.

Nichole began her Veterinary Technician career in 2009. She chose to leave her previous career in business management and work with animals. Nichole has always loved and been fascinated by animals and says they fill our hearts with warmth and love. She feels the best way she could give back was to be there for them in their time of need. Nichole aspires to one day become certified in animal emergency and disaster relief. She currently has 2 dogs named Dozer, a 10 year old lab mix and Wink, a 7 year old Doxie/Chihuahua mix. In Nichole's free time she likes to spend time with friends and family, go hiking with her dogs and to go camping whenever she can get away.Read More

Denise is a lover of all animals big and small whether they are furry or scaly, aquatic or terrestrial; she cares for them all cultivating a reputation for being knowledgeable beyond her profession. Even before she joined Pacific Animal Hospital she was assisting in the delivery of Doberman puppies; two of those puppies became members of her family. Her time within the retail companion animal industry exposed her to care of a variety of other animals from snakes and lizards to frogs and fish. Denise and her husband are parents to a Doberman, Great Dane, and Pitbull, and caretakers of twelve snakes, eight frogs, nine lizards, two Desert Tortoises, six large and small fresh and saltwater fish tanks, and a goldfish pond.
Kelly has been in the Veterinary field since 1999 and has been an animal lover since she can remember. Growing up with many different animals in her household she realized how much she wanted to continue to share her love and care for pets in the Veterinary field as if they are part of her own family. Kelly loves to spend off time with her husband of 15 years, her two daughters, and her rescued Jack Russell terrier mix “Henry”. She enjoys adventurous outdoor activities around San Diego, watching her daughters play sports, traveling, and gardening.
I have been in the animal medical field for over 30 years. I've been here at Pacific Animal Hospital for 15 years. I worked in Colorado as a horse and cattle technician as well as at the Durango Humane Society for 10 years. When I moved back to California I began to volunteer at the San Diego Humane society in animal rescue. I had the opportunity you reunite pets with their owners after hurricanes and fires. I'm a crazy cat person and think dogs and cats should rule the world.
Melissa completed Veterinary Technician school in Las Vegas in 2014. After working at a general practice for 2 years she moved back to California and began working at Pacific Animal Hospital in 2016. Melissa enjoys her three crazy dogs; Daphne, Pepper (Great Dane mixes), and Arya (American Bulldog). Eventually her dream will be to work at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center. Melissa loves caring for animals and treats every pet as her own.
Tracy is a Southern California native who grew up in Rancho Santa Margarita. Her family always had at least two dogs, and an assortment of other pets including cats, rats, parakeets, and even an occasional chicken. Tracy was usually the first one to observe that one of the family pets needed veterinary care even from a young age. She graduated from Mission Viejo High School and went to Heritage College to get her training as a Veterinary Technician. She lives in Oceanside with her husband, Chris and their two dogs, Penny, a rescued Border Collie mix and Koa, a boxer. Their hobbies include anything to do with the ocean: sailing, surfing, hanging with friends, and camping. She came to Pacific Animal Hospital in 2017 when she and Chris relocated to Oceanside from San Clemente where she had worked as a Veterinary Technician at San Clemente Veterinary Hospital for 4 years. She loves her job and looks forward to each day that she can help care for animals and help the people who come in to receive help for their family pets. She realizes the importance of these usually furry family members who are entrusted to our practice.
Kimberly started her career in the veterinary field just out of high school. After leaving the work force for a number of years in order to raise her family, she returned to the field joining the team at Pacific Animal Hospital in 2002. She was fortunate enough to be able to spend a couple of years living abroad in American Samoa where she was able to assist the local humane society and work with the volunteer organization Animal Balance to help provide much needed medical care, as well as spaying and neutering, to the animals of this island. Kimberly continues to be passionate about her chosen field and loves working with both the pets and their wonderful people!
My name is Jasmine and I have one furry baby named Charger. Animals have always been an active part of my life. After I found my career in veterinary medicine at fifteen, I never looked back. Veterinary medicine and the animals lives I am a part of caring for are my passion. I have taken the next step in my career by going back to school to become a veterinarian and obtaining a business degree. Knowing I am making a difference in animals lives is priceless and I am so grateful to have a job I love and enjoy. In my spare time, I enjoy live music and being outdoors.
